The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sumner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sumner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shot manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shot throws a big counter combination but Sumner scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Shot scores with a jab to the body.
Shot looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sumner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shot.

Shot gets tackled into the cage by Sumner. Sumner maintains the clinch.
Sumner has Shot pressed against the cage.
Sumner can't find room to land a body shot as Shot controls the action.

Shot jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sumner walks away with a smile on his face. Shot gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Shot is rocked!
Sumner dips a shoulder and cracks Shot with a mighty uppercut! Shot falls back against the cage and Sumner unloads with a barrage of strikes! Shot is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sumner screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
