Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kostas Karelis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxx Elorde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Karelis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sail - AwolNation. Maxx Elorde will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Karelis fails with the takedown
and Elorde connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Some wild striking there from Elorde.
Oooooh!!! Elorde has knocked Karelis down with a huge combo! Elorde steps away and waves a wobbly Karelis back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Kostas Karelis has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Elorde changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Elorde lands with a good body shot.
Karelis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Elorde was well out of range. Poor timing from Karelis.
Karelis has his takedown stuffed
and Elorde counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Elorde drops Karelis with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Karelis! Elorde dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxx Elorde!
