The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw takes a swing at Haley's ribcage but misses.
Haley half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Shaw was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Haley takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

You can see the frustration on Haley's face as Shaw controls the position.
Shaw tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shaw has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
