Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Schelokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam B Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glenn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schelokov sprawls well. Schelokov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Glenn gets slowly back to his feet.

Schelokov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Glenn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Glenn showed some decent athleticism there.

Glenn is looking for a kimura but Schelokov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Glenn to get the leverage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
