Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Santos Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jantte Pekkane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jantte Pekkane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekkane tries a low kick but Green avoids it.
Green is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pekkane.
Pekkane drives through and clinches with Green against the cage.
Pekkane has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Green is trying to keep an underhook but Pekkane manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Green pushes Pekkane off and gets back to his feet.
Green fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pekkane, pushing him back against the cage.
Green has clasped his hands together around Pekkane's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Green wants to get up but he can't break Pekkane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pekkane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Pekkane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Green tries to counter by clinching up but Pekkane breaks away and moves out of range.
Pekkane closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Green to the mat! Green manages to get full guard.
Green is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Pekkane presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Pekkane is breathing heavily.
Green goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pekkane prevents it.
Green lands a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Green pulls Pekkane into guard.
Pekkane looking to sit in guard and control but Green gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Green has gone for a leg lock! Pekkane slips out almost immediately though and dives into Green's guard.
Pekkane passes Green's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Green is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pekkane performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Green is not content to let Pekkane control the position.

Green drops back looking for a leg! Pekkane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pekkane manages to kick Green off! Green jumps back into Pekkane's guard.

Green drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pekkane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pekkane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pekkane!

Green might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pekkane has one foot on Green's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Pekkane decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Green tries to score a body lock takedown but Pekkane shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Pekkane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Pekkane seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

I think Pekkane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
