And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tigiev comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mayflower takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Larry Mayflower has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tigiev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mayflower swings for the body but Tigiev moves out of range.

Tigiev feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mayflower sprawling to the canvas! Mayflower rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tigiev finish him?!

Mayflower is rocked!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mayflower has eaten all the pies!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mayflower glances at the clock... BAM! Tigiev nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Mayflower crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Mayflower is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sarmat Tigiev!
