Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between jr Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Terkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, jr Ang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brad Terkey!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ang tries to score a power double leg takedown but Terkey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ang somewhat.
Ang pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Terkey shoots in for a takedown but Ang shows good takedown defense.
Terkey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ang is defended easily by Terkey.

Terkey clinches up with Ang and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Terkey decides to pull guard.
Terkey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ang controls the pace.

Ang throwing strikes from guard but Terkey blocks nicely.
Ang has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Terkey controls Ang momentarily but Ang frees himself.
Ang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Terkey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ang is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Terkey pulls his head out easily.

Terkey drops an elbow to the side of Ang's head.
Terkey lands strikes from half guard.
Ang is looking to improve his position.
Terkey scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Ang pushes Terkey off looking to stand but Terkey dives back in and keeps control.
Terkey works his foot free and advances to mount.

Terkey stuffs the takedown.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ang enables Terkey to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Terkey lands a couple of elbows.
Terkey makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Terkey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Terkey pushes down on Ang's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Terkey circles away.

Ang wants to get back to his feet but Terkey passes into half guard.

Terkey is taking a breather. Ang says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Ang is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Terkey scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ang is looking to improve his position.

Terkey passes the guard and advances to mount!
Terkey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ang looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Terkey stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Terkey dives in and grabs Ang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ang pushes down on Terkey's head and hops out.
Ang misses with a takedown attempt - Terkey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Terkey drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ang defends it well.
Ang throws a head kick but Terkey moves out of range.
Ang takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Terkey closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ang's guard.
Ang wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Terkey manages to pass to side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ang flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Terkey is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brad Terkey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Terkey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ang sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Terkey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ang seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

and Terkey counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Ang has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Terkey after a bit of a struggle.

Terkey takes the fight into the clinch.
Terkey jumps guard but Ang turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
jr Ang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Terkey.
Ang is working for takedown but Terkey is calmly controlling the position for now.
Terkey misses with a knee strike.

Terkey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ang stuffs the takedown attempt from Terkey. Terkey gets slowly back to his feet.
Ang looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Terkey closes the distance and pushes Ang back into the cage.

Terkey fails to pull guard.
Terkey tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ang wants a takedown but no success here.
Ang tries for a takedown but Terkey manages to get underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Ang's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Terkey takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ang avoids the body shot from Terkey.
Ang tries to clinch but Terkey is having none of it.
Terkey wants to slow Ang down by chopping away at his legs.
A quick step to the side and Ang tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ang gets tackled into the cage by Terkey. Terkey maintains the clinch.
Ang is trying to break the clinch but Terkey is controlling him.
Ang tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Terkey smiles and moves away.
Brad Terkey seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Terkey drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ang wants to get back to his feet but Terkey is dominant here and he's now got Ang's back!

And that's the end of the fight!
jr Ang showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Terkey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
