Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitka Boycheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boycheck comes into the arena with Парус blaring out of the sound system. Chad Smith will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boycheck's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Boycheck duly obliges.
Boycheck tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Boycheck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Smith moves into the clinch.
Boycheck landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Boycheck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boycheck tries a head kick but it misses.

Smith is stalling here.

Boycheck manages to break the clinch.
Boycheck connects with a good right hand that stumbles Smith. Smith circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Boycheck scores with a leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boycheck throws a good cross that connects.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boycheck accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Boycheck dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Boycheck swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boycheck connects with a solid leg kick.

Boycheck closes the distance and clinches.
Smith keeps control of Boycheck as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Smith manages to pull guard.
Boycheck passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ground and pound from Boycheck seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Smith wants to control but Boycheck postures up.
Boycheck tries to score with some ground and pound. Smith controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Smith is looking to regain half guard here but Boycheck keeps moving and retains side control.

Boycheck thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Boycheck has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Smith is looking to reverse the position.

Boycheck is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Boycheck wants to take a breather but Smith manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Boycheck.
Boycheck lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Smith pulls Boycheck in close to his closed guard and prevents Boycheck from doing any damage or advancing position.

Smith's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith pulls Boycheck in close to his closed guard and prevents Boycheck from doing any damage or advancing position.
Let's hope that Smith has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Boycheck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Boycheck lying in Smith's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Smith decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Boycheck taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
