The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jaxon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jaxon gets to his feet. Santos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Santos drops back looking for a leg! Jaxon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jaxon manages to kick Santos off! Santos jumps back into Jaxon's guard.
Santos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jaxon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Santos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Santos wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Jaxon's closed guard. He's half up but Jaxon has locked on to an arm! Uh oh!
