Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wei Pei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Luger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shane Luger was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luger has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Pei throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Luger on the side of the head.

Pei walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Luger looks to score with a jab to the body but Pei is just out of range.
Luger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pei, pushing him back against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pei.
Pei wants to break free but Luger has control.

and Pei counters with a nice right hand that sends Luger toppling to the canvas! Luger scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pei finish him?!

Pei walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Luger checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Luger cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pei closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Pei lunges at Luger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Luger's hand.

You can see that Luger has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Luger. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Pei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Luger steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pei. That one must have hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pei appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Good leg kick by Luger there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice straight punches there by Pei. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pei.

Luger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pei.
Pei throws a wild body kick that Luger sees coming a mile off.

Pei is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Pei fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Luger looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Luger drops his hands momentarily and Pei takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Pei fires out a quick counter leg kick but Luger just manages to avoid it.
Luger with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pei to score with a decent uppercut.

A slow jab from Pei misses its intended target.
Pei feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Luger sprawling to the canvas! Luger rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pei finish him?!
Luger is rocked!
A clash of legs there as Luger blocks the low kick.
It seemed like Luger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Pei cracks Luger with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pei has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Luger to stand back up!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pei closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Luger! Pei dives in looking to finish! Luger is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wei Pei!
A very excited looking Wei Pei made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
