Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gurney Halleck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Zyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halleck comes to the cage accompanied by The Clash-White Riot. Zyb has chosen "Battle" by Gangstarr as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zyb misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zyb on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Zyb throws a right hand that Halleck ducks under and follows up with a left that Halleck also avoids with ease.
Halleck circles away from the clinch attempt.
Halleck connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Zyb throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Halleck rushes Zyb and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Zyb throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Halleck blocks it with crossed arms.
Halleck tries a body shot but Zyb blocks it.
Halleck can't find room to land a body shot as Zyb controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halleck lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Zyb landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Zyb tries to pull guard but Halleck holds him up against the cage and eventually Zyb drops back down to his feet.

Gurney Halleck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Zyb.

Zyb escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Halleck is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Zyb throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Halleck takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Chris Zyb has been cut.
Zyb lands with a slapping head kick.
Halleck slaps away a takedown attempt from Zyb, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Halleck scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zyb doesn't seem bothered though.

and Halleck counters with a left to the body.
Zyb looks winded!
Zyb will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Halleck lands a jab to Zyb's midsection.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Halleck swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zyb.

Halleck drops Zyb with a huge uppercut! Zyb drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Halleck is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
