The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes needs to keep his hands up - Stewart had a free shot at his head there.
No joy there for Stewart, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hayes's coach down at Beast Bar was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hayes's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Hayes has his takedown stuffed
and Stewart counters with a stiff right hand.

Hayes drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hayes seems to have locked his on tight now - Stewart screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hayes, as he picks up the win!
