Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Wates!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Corey Yantz!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wates clinches.
Wates's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yantz tries to clinch there but Wates circles away.
Yantz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A combination from Yantz does no damage.
Yantz wants to clinch up but Wates keeps it at a distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yantz is defended easily by Wates.
Wates misses with a wild body shot.
Yantz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Yantz tries to get set, Wates tries to push him back and clinch up but Yantz manages to avoid the attempt.
Yantz fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wates drops down looking for a counter takedown but Yantz sprawls and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yantz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Decent striking displayed by Wates there.
Yantz wants to clinch.
Yantz wants to clinch up but Wates keeps it at a distance.

A head kick by Yantz misses
and Wates counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wates distracts Yantz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Wates is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Yantz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Wates gets to his feet. Yantz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Yantz throws a series of punches but Wates avoids them all with ease.
Wates showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yantz.
Wates shoots in for a takedown but Yantz shows good takedown defense.
Wates checks a leg kick.
Wates swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Yantz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wates throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yantz on the side of the head.
It looks like Corey Yantz has been cut.

Yantz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wates misses with a wild combination.
Yantz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wates paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wates seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A head kick from Wates lands but Yantz takes it in his stride.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yantz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wates looks to land a combination but Yantz avoids it well.
Yantz is looking to clinch.
Wates circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wates seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Yantz rushes Wates and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wates creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
I was talking to Wates's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Wates breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wates misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wates throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Yantz fails with an attempt to clinch.

Yantz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wates swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Yantz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wates holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Yantz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yantz swinging wildly here.
Wates shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yantz as he avoids it easily.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Yantz struggles to land a body shot inside as Wates controls his hands.
Wates is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Yantz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wates shoots in but Yantz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Yantz wants to counter with a clinch but Wates pushes him away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Wates. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wates shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Yantz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Yantz trying to control but Wates flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Wates is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Yantz with him. Yantz is trying to defend but Wates has an arm under the chin now! Yantz grimaces and is forced to tap out!
