Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uk slips under a jab.
A slow jab from Uk misses its intended target.
Hill closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hill misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hill takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Uk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hill swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Uk lands with an uppercut that bounces Hill off the cage and back into range.
Uk cracks Hill with a right hand to the side of the head.
Dong Uk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hill pushes Uk away with a front kick.
Hill takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Uk throws a jab when Hill was well out of range.

and Hill counters with a good, hard body kick but Uk shrugs it off.

Uk gets through Hill's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Uk tries to circle away but Hill has him pinned against the cage.

Hill digs a right hand into Uk's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Uk's gas tank.
Hill throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Uk blocks it with crossed arms.
Uk takes a shot to the head.

Uk misses with a short punch on the inside.

Uk is breathing heavily.
Hill digs a right hand into Uk's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Uk's gas tank.

I was talking to Uk's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Hill.
Uk is rocked!
Hill creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Uk with a big uppercut! Uk tries to clinch up but Hill pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Uk to the mat! Uk covers up and Hill unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
