Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Mutou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Ronaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Keiji Mutou has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Keiji Mutou seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutou on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ronaldo.
Ronaldo misses with a punch to the body.
Ronaldo is trying to push Mutou away but Mutou has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ronaldo's coach down at ELITE GYM 40CAP was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ronaldo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ronaldo can't find room to land a body shot as Mutou controls the action.
Mutou has Ronaldo pressed against the cage.
Mutou wants to stall.

Mutou is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
We've been hearing reports that Mutou has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mutou lands with a light punch inside.
Ronaldo works on Mutou's body with a couple of short punches.
Mutou is looking to control Ronaldo's arms but Ronaldo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mutou has his back to the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Keiji Mutou.
Mutou bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mutou has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ronaldo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
