Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Smithing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Gerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smithing kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shooting Stars. Gerson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DO OR DIE - BELLA FAMIGLIA. John Smithing could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mauricio Gerson's chin.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Gerson tries to clinch but Smithing moves out of range.
It looked like Smithing was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
