The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skog moves in looking to clinch but Goss pushes him off.
Goss changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Goss shoots in for a takedown but Skog shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Skog misses the target.
Goss seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Skog connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Skog cracks Goss with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Skog throws a head kick that misses.
Skog ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fighters circling - Skog throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Goss seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Skog has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Skog sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Goss's defenses. It connects perfectly with Goss's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
