Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Meat Loaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erkki Elastinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loaf comes into the arena with Eat My Loaf blaring out of the sound system. Elastinen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cascada - Dangerous. Meat Loaf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
43 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Meat Loaf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
33 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Erkki Elastinen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elastinen moves out of range as Loaf strikes.
Elastinen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Loaf circles away.
Loaf throws a low kick but it's checked well by Elastinen.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Elastinen.
Loaf tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Elastinen swivels and escapes.
Loaf walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Elastinen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've been hearing reports that Loaf has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Loaf connects with a solid leg kick.
Loaf thows a body kick. Elastinen tries to catch it but that hurt him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elastinen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Meat Loaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erkki Elastinen.

Elastinen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Loaf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Loaf is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Elastinen.
And Elastinen tries to counter it with a takedown but Loaf pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Elastinen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Loaf.
Elastinen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Loaf as he avoids it easily.

and Elastinen counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Loaf holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Loaf is looking for a sweep. Elastinen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Loaf is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Elastinen jumps into side control!

Loaf desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Elastinen works his foot free and advances to mount.
Loaf is in all sorts of trouble here.
Elastinen looking to control but Loaf is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Loaf tries to hold on but Elastinen postures up.
Elastinen prevents Loaf from getting the reversal.
Loaf is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Elastinen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Loaf is surviving well by controlling Elastinen's body position as best he can.
Loaf regains half guard.
Elastinen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Loaf sees it coming and defends easily.
Loaf is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Elastinen goes for a double leg but Loaf avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Loaf continues to drive forward.
Loaf digs a good body shot into Elastinen's ribs.
Elastinen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loaf but Loaf pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Elastinen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Loaf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Elastinen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Loaf counters with a nice double leg into side control. Elastinen won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Elastinen is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Elastinen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Elastinen regains full guard. Nicely done.
Our spies down at at Holding Cell inform us that Elastinen has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loaf trying to control but Elastinen is working from the bottom.
Loaf lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Loaf throwing strikes but missing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Elastinen wants to sweep but no luck.
Loaf content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Meat Loaf dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Loaf bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Elastinen's head.
Loaf misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Elastinen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Loaf!
Elastinen is trying to get an arm triangle but Loaf is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Loaf's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Loaf is looking to wear down Elastinen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Elastinen tries for a takedown but Loaf manages to get underhooks.
Elastinen has Loaf pressed against the cage, preventing Loaf from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Loaf gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Elastinen.
Loaf is trying to trip Elastinen. He has hold of a leg but Elastinen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Loaf persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Loaf wants to control from the top but Elastinen keeps moving.

Elastinen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Loaf rolls with it to try and escape but Elastinen cranks on the arm and Loaf is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Erkki Elastinen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Meat Loaf stepped up to the mic, saying 'He pooped on me !'.
