The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponting misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ysengrin.
A clash of legs there as Ponting blocks the low kick.
Ponting seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ysengrin throws a jab but it's blocked by Ponting.
Ysengrin feints and then cracks Ponting's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ponting down.
Ysengrin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Artur Ysengrin has been cut.
Ysengrin throws a looping overhand right but Ponting ducks down to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Ponting throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ysengrin slips a straight right by Ponting.
Ysengrin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ponting throws a leg kick but Ysengrin moved away.
Ponting rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Ysengrin to counter with a crisp jab.

Ponting looks to score with a jab to the body but Ysengrin is just out of range.

Ysengrin throws a series of punches but Ponting avoids them all with ease.

Ponting throws a hook to the side of Ysengrin's head but Ysengrin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ponting bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ysengrin's head backwards.
Ysengrin throws a body kick that misses.
Ponting swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ponting throws out a loose jab but Ysengrin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ponting scores with the left hand. Ysengrin knows he should have avoided that one.
Ysengrin takes one on the button.

Ponting is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Ponting counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
