The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabando lands with a thumping leg kick.
Banks looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Banks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Banks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sabando can pounce on him.

Carlos Sabando seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabando throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Banks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sabando's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Sabando in no position to continue!
