Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bastien Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vesa Sykk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the ring accompanied by Du Hast. Sykk has chosen Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name as his entrance music. Bastien Harris had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bastien Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vesa Sykk!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Sykk.
A solid leg kick lands there for Harris.
Harris tries to land a front kick but Sykk steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Harris takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sykk is looking to score with low kicks.
A solid body kick from Harris.
Sykk throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Harris throws a wild body kick that Sykk sees coming a mile off.
Nice cross by Sykk.
Sykk throws a sloppy head kick and Harris moves out of range easily.
Sykk throws a leg kick which misses Harris's front leg but catches the back leg as Harris tries to avoid it.
Sykk scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Harris doesn't seem bothered though.

Harris moves into range and clinches up with Sykk.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sykk struggles to land a body shot inside as Harris controls his hands.

Harris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sloppy strikes from Harris. Those never looked like landing.
Harris takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Harris is rocked!

Sykk instigates a clinch.
Oh Harris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice elbow from Sykk.
Sykk misses with a short punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sykk digs a right hand into Harris's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Harris's gas tank.
Sykk throws a head punch that misses.
Sykk throws a punch but it's blocked by Harris.
Sykk lands a damaging elbow.
Sykk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Harris tries to circle away but Sykk has him pinned against the ropes.
Sykk stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Sykk pressing his opponent against the ropes.
Sykk throws a big uppercut that drops Harris! More strikes from Sykk and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Harris lies dazed against the ropes as Sykk celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vesa Sykk!
During a confident post fight interview, Vesa Sykk thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Bastien Harris spoke after the fight, saying 'After this loss i think i will go home and hang myself now , goodbye'.
