Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tito Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tito Hyde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergio Moraes!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hyde. Moraes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hyde sets himself, and Moraes steps forward looking for the clinch! Hyde avoids it this time.
Moraes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hyde to score with a decent uppercut.
Hyde tests Moraes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hyde lands with an overhand left.

Moraes clinches with his opponent.
Hyde lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hyde can't find room to land a body shot as Moraes controls the action.
Moraes throws a punch but it's blocked by Hyde.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moraes tries a knee to the head but Hyde blocks it.
Hyde landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Moraes pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
A head punch on the inside from Moraes fails to land.

Moraes turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee asks Moraes politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Moraes prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hyde is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Hyde blocks an uppercut.
Moraes throws an elbow that misses.
Moraes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hyde just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Hyde avoids a wild elbow strike from Moraes.
Hyde misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Moraes.
Hyde blocks the elbow strike.
Moraes misses with some punches.
Moraes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Moraes has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Hyde seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Moraes can turn it around.

Moraes tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hyde smiles and moves away.
Tito Hyde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergio Moraes.
Hyde throws a hook but Moraes blocks it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hyde lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Moraes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Moraes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hyde dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hyde tries to land a leg kick but Moraes saw it coming and moves away.
Moraes wants to counter with a clinch but Hyde pushes him away.

Tito Hyde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hyde throws a front kick that sends Moraes stumbling back into the ropes.
Moraes takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Moraes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hyde.
Moraes moves out of range as Hyde strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tito Hyde dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Hyde throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moraes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hyde misses with a low kick.
Moraes wants to counter with a clinch but Hyde pushes him away.
Hyde tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Moraes is able to avoid easily.
Moraes with the counter takedown but Hyde avoids it easily.
Moraes needs to keep his hands up - Hyde had a free shot at his head there.
Hyde uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moraes.
Hyde looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Hyde just misses with a punch to the body.
Moraes is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Moraes tries to close the distance and clinch but Hyde swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hyde cracks Moraes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


Moraes is rocked!
Moraes walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Moraes limp body while Hyde jumps on to the ropes and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tito Hyde!
After winning the bout, Tito Hyde thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
