Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Camatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smith's choice of entrance music: Ignition. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Camatta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Smith!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith wants to land a leg kick but Camatta is out of range.
Camatta looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Camatta takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Camatta digs a good hook to Smith's body.
Smith throws a push kick but Camatta slaps the foot to one side.
Camatta half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Camatta swings widly with a right hand
and Smith counters with a left and a right that stings Camatta.
Camatta swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Camatta looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Camatta throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Smith wants to get back to full guard.
Camatta missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Smith blocking the ground and pound attempt from Camatta.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith is controlling Camatta's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Smith trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith is desperately trying to improve his position but Camatta has a good base and remains in mount.
Camatta fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Smith is looking to get to half guard.
Smith tries to hold on but Camatta pushes him away.

Smith keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Smith wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Camatta.

Smith is bucking up trying to escape but Camatta cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Camatta thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Camatta lands with some strikes.
Camatta lands a big elbow - Smith is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Smith is forced to tap out!
