The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayorga feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sampsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Willie Sampson has been cut.
Mayorga cracks Sampson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Sampson falls to his knees and Mayorga doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricardo Mayorga!
Ricardo Mayorga bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
