The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Akhmedov waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Simpson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Simpson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Simpson is rocked!

That has opened up Bart Simpson's cut even more.

Akhmedov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Simpson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Akhmedov has managed to get both his arms back between Simpson's legs - danger averted.

Simpson is looking for a triangle but Akhmedov pushes his legs off easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Simpson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Akhmedov rolls with it to try and escape but Simpson cranks on the arm and Akhmedov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
