The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logitonov misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sparks tries to keep at a distance but Logitonov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sparks managing to block the knees to the body from Logitonov.

Logitonov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Buvy Logitonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Logitonov tries to bum rush Sparks with a series of wild strikes but Sparks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sparks has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Logitonov.

Logitonov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sparks is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
