Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lip Ton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zico Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ton.
Ton shoots and misses
and Ton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ton shoots for a double leg takedown but Ali sprawls well. He's pushed Ton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Ton backs off Ali throws a huge counter combo but Ton manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lip Ton. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ton is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Orion Fight Camp that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Ton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ali is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ton dives into side control.

Ali looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ton dives in for a single leg takedown but Ali sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lip Ton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ali as he avoids it easily.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ton shoots in for a double leg but Ali sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ton or perhaps it was just good defense by Ali, which made it look bad.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ali's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ali pushes Ton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Ton is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ali is trying to escape and Ton transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ali is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ton! Very nice indeed!
