Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakub Lubanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Thiago Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jakub Lubanski!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez fails to land with a series of punches.
Lubanski doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Lubanski throws a body punch but Sanchez moves out of range.
Lubanski clobbers Sanchez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lubanski has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Sanchez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lubanski has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Lubanski shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanchez sprawls well. He's pushed Lubanski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sanchez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Lubanski is looking for a sweep. Sanchez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lubanski is looking to control Sanchez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lubanski avoid being mounted?

Sanchez stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanchez. Lubanski does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lubanski throws out a counter right but Sanchez avoids it with no problem.

Sanchez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lubanski has him pressed against the cage.

Sanchez has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lubanski is trying to keep an underhook but Sanchez manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lubanski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nice straight punches there by Lubanski. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lubanski.

Sanchez throws a right and a left that Lubanski avoids nicely.
Thiago Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez tries to clinch up but Lubanski circles away and keeps his distance.
And Lubanski tries to counter it with a takedown but Sanchez pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lubanski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lubanski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lubanski works to advance to full mount. Sanchez defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Lubanski won't let Sanchez get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sanchez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Jakub Lubanski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Sanchez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lubanski shoots in looking for a takedown but Sanchez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lubanski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sanchez is looking to wear down Lubanski with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Sanchez will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lubanski up against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Thiago Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jakub Lubanski.
Lubanski misses with an uppercut. Sanchez saw that one coming.

Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lubanski lands a nice shot that snaps Sanchez's head back.

Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Lubanski tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lubanski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thiago Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sanchez misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanchez takes a swing at Lubanski's ribcage but misses.
Lubanski throws out a counter right but Sanchez avoids it with no problem.
Sanchez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lubanski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sanchez scrambles back to his feet.
Sanchez shoots for a takedown but Lubanski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sanchez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Thiago Sanchez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
