Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sativa Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly's entrance music is Jedi Mind Tricks / Retaliation . A fine choice. Sensei is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Stevie Ray - Pride and Joy. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sativa Sensei!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly cracks Sensei with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sensei throws an overhand right that lands on Kelly's shoulder, as Kelly tries to avoid the shot.
Kelly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sensei throws a lazy uppercut
and Kelly counters with a two punch combo.
Sensei tries to land a front kick but Kelly steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kelly uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sensei.
Sensei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sensei pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kelly on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kelly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A slow jab from Sensei misses its intended target.
The fighters circling - Sensei throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Good standup being displayed there by Kelly as he connects with a hook.
Kelly fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sensei looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sensei gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kelly.
Kelly throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


Sensei is rocked!
Sensei throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
As Sensei backs away, Kelly returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Kelly avoids the body shot from Sensei.
Sensei with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sensei lands a nice looking body shot.

and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sensei connects with an inside leg kick.

and Sensei connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sensei is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kelly.

Kelly uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sensei.
Kelly appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Sensei has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sensei throws a right hand that misses
and Kelly counters with a right hand to the body.
Kelly attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sensei avoids a kick to the body.
Sensei swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kelly.
Kelly walks into a jab.
Kelly clobbers Sensei with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sensei looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kelly scores with a shot to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sensei. That's going to slow Kelly down.
Kelly misses the shot to the body.
A little jabbing left from Sensei on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
It looks like Kelly has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Sensei throws a leg kick but Kelly sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kelly connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Sensei throws a hook but Kelly avoids it easily.

Sensei stuns Kelly with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sensei misses with a body shot.
A jab from Sensei misses.
Kelly is looking to counter punch.
Sensei throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Sensei scores with the left hand. Kelly knows he should have avoided that one.

and Sensei counters with a left to the body.
Sensei throws a nice head kick!


Kelly is rocked!
Sensei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sensei misses with a lunging right hand
and Kelly counters with a good low kick that Sensei was not able to check.
Sensei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelly moves away.
Kelly fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sensei on the side of the head.
Kelly looks to throw the jab but Sensei is out of range.
Nice shot lands for Kelly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sensei throws the kick towards the body but Kelly avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kelly throws a sloppy head kick and Sensei moves out of range easily.
Kelly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kelly slips a straight right by Sensei.
Kelly throws a shot to the body.
Kelly misses with a kick to the body.
Kelly fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sensei scores with a hook.
Kelly checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Sensei pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kelly blocks a jab.
Kelly connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sensei's hands.
A low kick from Sensei misses
and Kelly counters with a nice uppercut.
Kelly lands a right hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Kelly dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sensei throws a body shot but no joy.
Sativa Sensei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly stuns Sensei with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sensei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
George Kelly is winning the standup battle so far.
Kelly digs a good body shot into Sensei's ribs.
Sensei displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kelly throws out the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sensei! But no joy.
Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sensei manages to avoid it.
Sensei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That kick from Kelly tenderised Sensei's leg. Sensei is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sensei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelly moves away.
Kelly feints and then cracks Sensei's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sensei down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sensei lands with a straight right. Kelly didn't see that one coming.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Sensei might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kelly has got the better of the exchanges.

Kelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Sensei is just out of range.

Kelly tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sensei is able to avoid easily.

and Kelly makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kelly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sensei can do to turn this around?

and Kelly counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sensei is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Kelly counters with a big right hand! Oh Sensei is in trouble here! Kelly follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Kelly!
