Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mehmet Muhammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Taka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Mehmet Muhammad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Taka!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Muhammad tries to counter with a takedown but Taka is quick to defend against it.
Muhammad looks to land a right hand but Taka moved out of range.
A jab from Taka misses.
Taka takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Taka throws an overhand right that lands on Muhammad's shoulder, as Muhammad tries to avoid the shot.
Muhammad throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Muhammad tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Muhammad somewhat.
Taka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Taka misses with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taka throws a hook to the side of Muhammad's head but Muhammad sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A jab from Taka misses.
Taka scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Taka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Taka misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab from Taka finds it's way through Muhammad's defenses.
Taka throws a leg kick but Muhammad sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Muhammad tries to counter with a takedown but Taka is quick to defend against it.
Taka scores with a nice head shot.
Taka waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Muhammad.
Taka takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A swing and a miss from Taka.
Taka looks to land a right hand but Muhammad moved out of range.
Muhammad attempts a counter takedown but Taka avoids it well and moves away.
Muhammad misses with a hook.
Taka misses with a straight left.
Muhammad appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Muhammad throws out a loose jab but Taka uses good head movement to avoid it.
Muhammad slips under a jab.
Taka takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Taka scores with a punch to the head.
Taka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taka gets caught napping as Muhammad dives in and scores a takedown. Taka manages to retain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Taka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Muhammad passes Taka's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Muhammad has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Muhammad controlling the pace for now.
Taka is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Muhammad thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Muhammad has hold of Taka's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Taka manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Muhammad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Taka has left one of his arms exposed and Muhammad doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Taka screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mehmet Muhammad!
