Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jens Klandtman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomasz Kowalski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tomasz Kowalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jens Klandtman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klandtman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kowalski is fending him off so far but Klandtman persists. Nope, Kowalski circles away and we're back to standing.
Kowalski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Klandtman avoids it really well and circles away.

Klandtman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Klandtman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kowalski tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Klandtman is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kowalski is looking to reverse the position.
Kowalski wants to control but Klandtman postures up.

Klandtman is trying to get an arm triangle but Kowalski is defending well.

Klandtman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kowalski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Klandtman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kowalski will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Klandtman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kowalski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Klandtman's guard! Nice work there by Kowalski!

Kowalski decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Klandtman, up you get!

Kowalski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Klandtman manages to avoid it.
Klandtman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kowalski defends it well.
Klandtman shoots for a double leg takedown but Kowalski sprawls well. He's pushed Klandtman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Klandtman is looking to pass into half guard but Kowalski pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kowalski is in guard.

Klandtman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Klandtman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kowalski is just riding it out for now. Klandtman eventually gives up the hold.

Kowalski wants to improve his position but Klandtman is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klandtman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Kowalski tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Klandtman defends well and Kowalski ends up having to push Klandtman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Klandtman darts in looking for a takedown but Kowalski gets double underhooks and turns Klandtman into the cage.
Kowalski throws a big counter combination but Klandtman scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Klandtman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kowalski is trying to escape back to his feet but Klandtman uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Klandtman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kowalski keeps working.
Kowalski tries to buck Klandtman off but Klandtman is having none of it.

Klandtman slips a nice elbow through Kowalski's hands, connecting with Kowalski's forehead.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Klandtman working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Klandtman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kowalski keeps working.
Kowalski is looking for a sweep. Klandtman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kowalski tries to hold on but Klandtman pushes him away.

Klandtman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kowalski is surviving well by controlling Klandtman's body position as best he can.

Kowalski has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Klandtman is on him like a limpet, forcing Kowalski back against the cage.

Kowalski lands with a kick to the temple. Klandtman shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kowalski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Klandtman flicks out a counter leg kick but Kowalski steps away.
Klandtman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kowalski but Kowalski pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tomasz Kowalski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jens Klandtman.

Kowalski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Klandtman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kowalski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Klandtman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Klandtman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Klandtman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kowalski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kowalski has escaped and now he's on top!

Kowalski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Klandtman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Klandtman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kowalski stacks Klandtman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kowalski!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

No joy there for Kowalski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

I think Klandtman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
