Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Thomson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Moroz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moroz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Thomson to the mat! Thomson manages to get full guard.
Thomson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Moroz manages to pass to side control.
Moroz wants to control but Thomson is keeping him busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Moroz has his foot on Thomson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thomson works his way back into a safe position though.
Moroz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Thomson will probably get the nod.

As Moroz backs away, Thomson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
