Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Izzy Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Schultze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schultze tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Both fighters circling a little - Beast finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Schultze takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Schultze or perhaps it was just good defense by Beast, which made it look bad.
Beast lands a really nice looking cross but Schultze seems unphased.

Schultze has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Beast after a bit of a struggle.
Beast works on Schultze's body with a couple of short punches.

Beast is pressed up against the cage. Schultze has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beast down to the mat. Beast avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Schultze shoots in looking for a takedown but Beast manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Schultze's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Schultze dives in for a single leg takedown but Beast sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Schultze tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beast swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Schultze's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Beast counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Schultze is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Schultze tries to close the distance and clinch but Beast swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Schultze looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Beast leaves Schultze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Schultze shoots in for a takedown but Beast shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Beast is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Schultze darts in looking for a takedown but Beast gets double underhooks and turns Schultze into the cage.
Beast stalks Schultze and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Schultze's face. Schultze staggers backwards, shaken.
Schultze gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Good leg kick by Beast there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Schultze tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beast swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Schultze drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Schultze takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice uppercut lands for Beast. That snapped Schultze's head back.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
