The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Drone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Innes half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Drone looks to land a right hand but Innes moved out of range.
Innes misses with a takedown attempt
and Drone counters with a straight right hand.
Drone avoids a kick to the body.
Drone looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Innes throws a sloppy head kick and Drone moves out of range easily.

and Drone makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Innes closes the distance and clinches up with Drone, looking for a takedown. Innes pushes Drone against the cage but Drone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Innes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Innes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drone takes a swing at Innes's ribcage but misses.
Drone's jab looks to have found its range, popping Innes under the eye.
Kyle Innes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Innes wants to clinch up but Drone keeps it at a distance.
Innes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drone's waist but Drone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Innes off to one side.

Drone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Innes doesn't seem bothered though.

Innes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Drone sprawls well. Drone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Innes gets slowly back to his feet.

Drone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Innes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Drone.
Innes gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Drone.

and Drone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Drone should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A nice side step and Drone releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Drone lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd cheers as Drone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Innes doesn't seem phased though.
Innes shoots for a double leg takedown but Drone sprawls well. He's pushed Innes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Drone works Innes's body with a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hunter Drone dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Drone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Drone counters with a left and a right that stings Innes.

Innes ducks right into an uppercut from Drone.
Innes throws a lazy head kick

and Drone counters with a crisp one two that drops Innes! Drone thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Innes to his feet! Innes is in big trouble!
Oh Innes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Innes might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Innes dives in for a single leg takedown but Drone sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hunter Drone seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Drone dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drone lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Drone Throws a clean left jab. Drone Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Innes's chin! Innes crumbles to the ground and Drone follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Drone!
