The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schopenhauer fails with the takedown
and Filby makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Schopenhauer really felt that one!
Filby tries a head kick but it misses.
Schopenhauer drops down looking for a counter takedown but Filby sprawls and moves away.
Jakob Filby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filby throws a nice outside leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Schopenhauer checks a leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Filby, right into the meat.

Filby fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Schopenhauer, pushing him back against the cage.
Filby throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Schopenhauer blocks it with crossed arms.
Filby gets underhooks to prevent Schopenhauer's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Schopenhauer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schopenhauer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Filby to keep the fight standing.
