Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Taslim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taslim comes into a darkened arena with his song building. La Coka Nostra - kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duncan Jon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Taslim!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taslim scores with a takedown into Jon's guard.

Jon uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Taslim tries to clinch but Jon moves out of range.
Taslim takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jon cracks Taslim with a good jab.
Taslim walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd cheers as Jon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Taslim doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taslim clinches up with Jon and pushes him back against the cage.
Jon is pressed up against the cage. Taslim has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jon down to the mat. Jon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Taslim's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Taslim scrambles back to his feet.
The fighters circling - Jon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Taslim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jon digs a good hook to Taslim's body.
Taslim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Taslim walks into a left hand.
Jon moves out of range of the body kick.
Jon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Taslim shoots in looking for a takedown but Jon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Taslim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Duncan Jon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Taslim.
Jon lands with a big left! Taslim is wobbled badly! Jon comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Taslim to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
