With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chinnawat Shinawatra!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinawatra swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shinawatra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tenhunen manages to avoid it.
Shinawatra wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tenhunen just misses with a punch to the body.
Tenhunen throws a shot from downtown. Shinawatra moves away and avoids it.
Shinawatra follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Tenhunen throws a jab but it's blocked by Shinawatra.
Kari Tenhunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shinawatra ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tenhunen moves away.
Tenhunen misses with a lunging right hand
and Shinawatra counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Tenhunen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Tenhunen looks to land a left hand but Shinawatra moved out of range nicely.
Shinawatra unleashes a big counter combination but Tenhunen bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Shinawatra has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shinawatra lands with a good body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tenhunen throws a hook to the side of Shinawatra's head but Shinawatra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tenhunen looks to throw the jab but Shinawatra is out of range.
Tenhunen misses with a hook
letting Shinawatra counter with a right hand.
Tenhunen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shinawatra sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shinawatra steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tenhunen misses with a hook
and Shinawatra counters with a three punch combo that has Tenhunen backing up. Tenhunen nods at Shinawatra to acknowledge the strikes.

and Shinawatra counters with a big right hand! Oh Tenhunen is in trouble here! Shinawatra follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chinnawat Shinawatra!
Chinnawat Shinawatra is the new bantamweight champion!
A relieved looking Chinnawat Shinawatra thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
