Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Bueller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samuel Romano!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Romano closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bueller did well to prevent Romano getting side control.
Romano is controlling the pace.
Romano wants to pass the guard but Bueller is defending well.
Bueller's coaches at Death Valley Training Facility have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Romano keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Bueller trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romano seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Romano scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Romano cracks the inside of Bueller's front leg.
Samuel Romano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Romano jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bueller throws a quick counter head kick but Romano was just out of range.
Bueller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No luck for Romano with that takedown attempt.
No joy there for Romano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bueller fails with the takedown.
Bueller tests Romano's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Romano throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bueller tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Romano is in Bueller's guard.

Bueller looking for a sweep. Not yet Bueller, not yet.
Romano sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Bueller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Romano controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bueller is looking to stand up but Romano isn't so interested in that idea.

Romano controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Romano keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bueller.
Romano punishes Bueller's body with a nice straight punch.

Bueller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Romano scores with a knee to the head.
Bueller has Romano pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Romano manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
A right handed body shot lands from Romano.
Bueller is breathing heavily.
Romano lands a knee to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Romano.
Romano lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Romano lands a damaging elbow.
Bueller is looking to break free of the clinch but Romano has double underhooks.
Romano lands a left hand.


Bueller is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Romano scores a nice knee to the body.

Romano working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Oh Bueller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romano lands with a short shot to the head.
Romano putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bueller in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Romano stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Romano creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Bueller's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Bueller drops to his knees and Romano pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Romano!
Samuel Romano decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
