Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torquil Bram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silas Monk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Monk's choice of entrance music: Ave Maria. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bram digs a good body shot into Monk's ribs.
Monk takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Silas Monk has been cut.
Bram throws a hook to the side of Monk's head but Monk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Monk throws out a counter right but Bram avoids it with no problem.
Monk moves out of range as Bram strikes.
Monk steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bram.
Monk uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bram has time to react.
A telegraphed right hand from Bram misses the target.
A punch lands to the side of Monk 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bram swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Monk makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bram really felt that one!

and Monk counters with a stiff right hand.
Bram is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Monk.
Bram dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been told by Bram's head coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (4.5* Sparring) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bram throws a body punch but Monk moves out of range.
Bram avoids a kick to the body.
Bram's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Monk connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bram scrambles back to his feet.

We've been informed that Monk has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Bram counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bram scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Bram throws a lazy right hand but Monk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bram connects with a nice cross there... Monk is looking wobbly and Bram recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Monk to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Bram jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
