Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luis Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kalaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Kalaway told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Morales gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kalaway to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Morales is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kalaway is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kalaway drops back, looking for a kneebar! Morales looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Morales looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Morales!
Kalaway is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Morales's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
