The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfly connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva Gracie momentarily.
The fighters circling - Mcfly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Silva Gracie with the counter takedown but Mcfly avoids it easily.
Mcfly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mcfly connects with the punch.
Mcfly jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mcfly connects with a body shot that sends Silva Gracie's belly button to the back.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva Gracie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Silva Gracie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

And Silva Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Mcfly pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Mcfly lands a big uppercut and Silva Gracie crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Silva Gracie looks OK. Mcfly waves Silva Gracie back to his feet!

Mcfly is stalking Silva Gracie. Silva Gracie circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Mcfly, and it's lights out! Silva Gracie really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
