Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Ringwald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mick Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ringwald throws a body shot but no joy.
Ringwald takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.


It looks like Ronald Ringwald has been cut.

Shaw lands a big uppercut and Ringwald crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ringwald looks OK. Shaw waves Ringwald back to his feet!


Ringwald is rocked!
Shaw jabs Ringwald to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Ringwald is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slapping leg kick lands for Shaw.
Shaw ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shaw now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shaw. Ringwald does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ringwald doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ringwald seems to have got his legs back now.
Shaw scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ringwald doesn't seem bothered though.
Ringwald on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

A thudding body kick lands there by Shaw!
Ringwald is breathing heavily.
Shaw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Shaw lands a big head kick that sends Ringwald tumbling to the mat! Shaw takes a step backwards and waves Ringwald back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Shaw has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ringwald leaves his chin hanging out and Shaw seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ringwald crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mick Shaw!
After winning the bout, Mick Shaw thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
