Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Blasted!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Mcveigh!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blasted shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcveigh pinned against the ropes. Mcveigh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mcveigh swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Blasted with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mcveigh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blasted takes one to the chin there.
Blasted misses with a takedown attempt
and Blasted takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Blasted. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mcveigh gets tackled into the ropes by Blasted. Blasted maintains the clinch.
Blasted tries to score a body lock takedown but Mcveigh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Blasted gets control of Mcveigh's arms and successfully pulls guard. Blasted will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blasted is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Mcveigh trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blasted's guard.
Blasted pulls Mcveigh in close to prevent any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blasted tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Blasted has Mcveigh pulled in close to control his posture.
Mcveigh wants to get up but he can't break Blasted's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mcveigh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blasted has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcveigh has managed to get both his arms back between Blasted's legs - danger averted.

Mcveigh is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Blasted has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mcveigh is looking to defend but Blasted has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mcveigh! Blasted pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mcveigh taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Brian Blasted!
