Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lon Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nine Shots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shots is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bad Mofo - Jai One ft. Charlie Blaze. Lon Dillon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lon Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nine Shots!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shots displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dillon.

Shots closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dillon sneaks out the side door and pushes Shots away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Shots clinches up against the cage.

Shots has hold of one of Dillon's legs. Dillon is fighting the takedown attempt but Shots gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Shots wanted to stand there but Dillon had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shots wants to control from the top but Dillon keeps moving.

Dillon pushes Shots off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dillon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Shots counters with a series of strikes. Dillon will be more careful next time no doubt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A lazy body kick from Shots

and Dillon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dillon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dillon controlling from the top position.

Shots is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dillon throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Shots's body to avoid the submission. Shots has instead reached around Dillon's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Shots arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Nine Shots!
Nine Shots decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
