Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sabre Tooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alka Mangrove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sabre Tooth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alka Mangrove!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tooth fails with the takedown.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mangrove! But no joy.
Nice takedown defense from Mangrove. No joy for Tooth on that attempt.
Tooth steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mangrove. That one must have hurt.
Tooth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tooth takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tooth takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tooth drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Tooth takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Mangrove gets a clinch.
Tooth is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mangrove gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sabre Tooth. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mangrove lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A frustrated look appears on Tooth's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Mangrove is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Mangrove lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tooth backwards.
Mangrove lands a nice uppercut.

Tooth is rocked!
Mangrove gets underhooks to prevent Tooth's takedown attempt.
Oh Tooth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice glancing elbow lands by Mangrove.
Tooth has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mangrove is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tooth is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mangrove lands a vicious elbow to the side of Tooth's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Mangrove tries to finish him with strikes but Tooth still seems able to defend himself so Mangrove steps back and lets Tooth get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

It looks like Sabre Tooth has been cut.
Mangrove has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tooth crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mangrove - the referee stops the clock and Tooth gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mangrove. Tooth manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mangrove thumps Tooth with a low kick.
Mangrove ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Tooth's jaw. Tooth's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Mangrove does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alka Mangrove!
