The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Gatmaitan.
That kick from Mon Ami tenderised Gatmaitan's leg. Gatmaitan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Andres Gatmaitan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gatmaitan throws a jab but it's blocked by Mon Ami.
Gatmaitan tries a head kick but it misses.
Mon Ami throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mon Ami connects with a solid leg kick.
Gatmaitan wants to clinch up but Mon Ami keeps it at a distance.
It looked like Mon Ami was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gatmaitan.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gatmaitan misses with a straight left.
Mon Ami throws a right and a left that Gatmaitan avoids nicely.
Gatmaitan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mon Ami tried to counter with a leg kick but Gatmaitan avoided it.
Mon Ami blocks a leg kick.
Gatmaitan looks to score with a jab to the body but Mon Ami is just out of range.
Gatmaitan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mon Ami bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A shot to the body from Gatmaitan misses
and Mon Ami counters with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice shot lands for Mon Ami.
Gatmaitan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mon Ami counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gatmaitan throws a body punch but Mon Ami moves out of range.
Mon Ami fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gatmaitan.
Gatmaitan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
As Gatmaitan tries to get set, Mon Ami tries to push him back and clinch up but Gatmaitan manages to avoid the attempt.
Mon Ami lands a nice shot to the body.

Mon Ami connects with a leg kick. Gatmaitan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gatmaitan throws a lazy head kick
enabling Mon Ami to counter with a crisp jab.

Gatmaitan is rocked!
Andres Gatmaitan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mon Ami scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gatmaitan is still on wobbly legs! Can Mon Ami finish him?
Gatmaitan looks winded!
Gatmaitan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Mon Ami ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Gatmaitan's jaw. Gatmaitan's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Mon Ami does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
