Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sephiroth Jenova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Lazaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenova comes to the cage accompanied by Cher - Believe. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paulo Lazaro!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Jenova misses.
Lazaro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jenova waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lazaro.
Jenova ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jenova looks to throw a body kick
and Lazaro counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jenova smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lazaro looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jenova darts in and clinches Lazaro up against the cage.
Jenova tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Lazaro blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jenova blocks an uppercut.
Jenova tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A short uppercut from Jenova.
Jenova lands a right hand.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jenova creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jenova digs a right hand into Lazaro's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lazaro's gas tank.
Lazaro is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jenova is keeping busy.
Jenova blocking some punches.
Lazaro throws a punch but it's blocked by Jenova.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A left hand lands to the body for Jenova.
Lazaro looks winded!
Jenova lands a hook that snaps the head of Lazaro backwards.

Lazaro tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jenova's elbow.
Jenova scores with a shoulder strike.
Nice body punch from Lazaro - that landed with a thud.
Jenova has a couple of punches blocked by Lazaro.
Jenova lands a nice uppercut.
Jenova escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jenova throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Lazaro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jenova fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lazaro manages to avoid it.
Jenova is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Jenova getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lazaro is rocked!
Jenova lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Lazaro up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jenova from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Lazaro's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sephiroth Jenova!
Sephiroth Jenova retains his heavyweight title!
Sephiroth Jenova was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Paulo Lazaro was interviewed post fight and said 'Damn you Pedro, you told me this would work.'.
