Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Glasheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sean Glasheen!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters throws a series of strikes that have Glasheen backpedaling.

Walters appears to be looking for a big counter.
Glasheen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Walters feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Glasheen is working an open guard so Walters takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Walters fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Glasheen to the ground. Walters is now in Glasheen's guard.
Glasheen has momentary wrist control but Walters slips an elbow through the middle.

Walters stands up and waves to Glasheen to follow him.
Walters looks to land a body kick but Glasheen moved away.
Glasheen throws a sloppy head kick
and Walters counters with a two punch combo.
Sean Glasheen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walters closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Glasheen to the mat! Glasheen manages to get full guard.

Walters is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Glasheen has momentary wrist control but Walters slips an elbow through the middle.

Walters drops back looking for a leg! Glasheen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Glasheen manages to kick Walters off! Walters jumps back into Glasheen's guard.

Walters bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Walters is staying tight to Glasheen's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Walters looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Walters is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Glasheen's shoulder. That is not cool.

Walters decides to stand back up. Walters steps back and let's Glasheen get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Walters breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Walters closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Glasheen did well to prevent Walters getting side control.

Walters seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Glasheen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Sean Glasheen was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll come back better, and I'll avenge this loss. Sorry I couldn't perform for you guys, next time I'll be better!'.
