Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvin Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stavros Flatley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stavros Flatley will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flatley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Flatley wants it to stay on the feet.
Flatley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Flatley pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Flatley has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Robinson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Flatley has managed to clinch.
Flatley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Robinson walks away with a smile on his face. Flatley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Robinson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Flatley throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Robinson escapes and throws Flatley's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Flatley manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Flatley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Robinson escapes and gets back to his feet.

and Flatley counters with a straight right hand.

Robinson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Flatley prevents it.

Flatley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Robinson gets tackled into the cage by Flatley. Flatley maintains the clinch.

Flatley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Robinson is trying to keep an underhook but Flatley manages to get the takedown into half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Robinson is on top in guard.
