PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kit Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, King Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kit Walker!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker misses with a looping left.
Bradley has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
No joy there for Walker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bradley tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bradley to the ground. Bradley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bradley seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Walker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Some wild striking there from Walker.
Kit Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bradley looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Bradley has managed to clinch.
Walker blocking some punches.
Bradley is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bradley has Walker pressed against the cage, preventing Walker from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bradley tries to work over Walker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Bradley will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Walker up against the cage.
Walker tries to break free but Bradley pushes him back against the cage.

Bradley lands a shoulder strike.
Walker tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Walker looking for a takedown.
King Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kit Walker.
A hook to the body from Bradley.
Walker prevents a body shot from Bradley.
Walker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bradley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bradley controlling the action here for a moment.
Walker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bradley lands a nice shot to the body.
Bradley stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Walker jumps guard.
Bradley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bradley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Walker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bradley's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Walker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bradley controls the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bradley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bradley moves out of range as Walker strikes.
Bradley misses with a few strikes there.

Bradley closes the distance and pushes Walker back into the cage.
A short body shot lands from Bradley as the two fighters clinch.
Walker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bradley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Walkers head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bradley lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Walker or not.
A body shot lands from Bradley.
Bradley lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Bradley lands a right hand that snaps the head of Walker backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bradley gets through Walker's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Bradley lands with a left to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bradley creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bradley misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bradley lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Walker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bradley can't find room to land a body shot as Walker controls the action.
Bradley lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Bradley dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Walker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Kit Walker has been cut.
Bradley scores with the left hand. Walker knows he should have avoided that one.


Walker is rocked!
Bradley throws a hook but Walker blocks it.
Walker is still on wobbly legs! Can Bradley finish him?
Bradley cracks Walker with an open hand slap.
Bradley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bradley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Walker's head.
Walker fails to land with a series of punches.

Walker instigates a clinch.
Bradley tries to throw a body punch but Walker avoids it by throwing Bradley back against the cage.
Bradley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Walker.
Walker seems to have recovered his senses.
Bradley stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A hook to the body from Bradley.
Walker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bradley pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kit Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bradley lands a big head kick that sends Walker to the canvas! Bradley follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). King Bradley!
King Bradley was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Kit Walker stepped up to the mic, saying 'Devils sake'.
